......The antiquarian bookshop was founded in November 1993 by librarian Stanislav Jordán.
The ideological co-founder was the visual artist and poet Frantisek Samota. He chose the pseudonym Samota as early as 1977 out of a need to separate the perception of his professional and civilian life. In 1996 it was adopted into the name of the antiquarian bookshop. The name does not translate. In all world languages it is written and read Samota.

Condition:
The photos in the catalogue are always authentic. Books and other goods are described according to the rules of bibliographic description. Condition according to the rules of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. Extraordinary emphasis is placed on condition and its notation. The founder and owner, Stanislav Jordán, is responsible for the correct description. Should the item be found to be unsatisfactory, it may be returned within thirty days.

Transport:

Withdrawal from a contract:
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 30 days of receipt of the goods. The buyer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the goods (the seller does not refund the amount paid for postage and packaging), subject to the following conditions:
- The returned goods, in the original packaging of the seller, must not be damaged or otherwise degraded and their condition must correspond to the condition in which they were received by the buyer.

Complaints:
If the goods have defects that have not been described, they can be returned within thirty days.
