The ideological co-founder was the visual artist and poet Frantisek Samota. He chose the pseudonym Samota as early as 1977 out of a need to separate the perception of his professional and civilian life. In 1996 it was adopted into the name of the antiquarian bookshop. The name does not translate. In all world languages it is written and read Samota.

Transport:

Withdrawal from a contract:
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 30 days of receipt of the goods.
